Is it just me or does the word "Mormon" now mean that it's okay to not cancel your hair appointment, rather just not show up at all. Don't worry people, just cause I was doing your hair at home doesn't mean I'm on a schedule. I have all day to do your hair. Seriously?
Is it just me or is "Mormon Standard Time" getting really old real fast? What is it with LDS people. Everyone just assumes that because you are a fellow Mormon, you will understand that it is hard to get all 15 of your flippen kids fed, dressed, and out the door on time. Here's a thought, You chose to have that many kids so get up earlier. Genius idea.
Is it just me or do fellow LDS people assume you are going to cut a deal with them for hair services. I am not saying that all do, but I have come in contact with many who think that somehow that they should be given a discount. Whatever!!!! It is not a sin to take pride in your looks and spend some $$ to take care things. I have to put food on my table too. If you don't want to pay my prices, then go to Great clips. You'll get a "great" cut, that you will be cursin your self you should have had me do in the first place when you look in the mirror and see the beautiful and stylish "steps" some like to call layers dressed upon your head. They only charge that price for a reason. Value or quality people, take a pick.
And what is it with people asking for hair tips. Putting on workshops on how to cut your kids hair? I am sorry but don't ever ask me to do somehting like that. You wouldn't ask a Dentist to come and show us how to do a filling just so we could save a few $$. Be curtious to those who are professionals. Most likely they don't want to show you how to do things. That would put us out of business. We are licensed for a reason.
Tricia!!! wow!! Did you need to get somethings off your chest?? Anyway I love you just the way you are! I agree with the business part, If I gave discount to everey mormon I knew for Pest Control we would definately go bankrupt!! Love ya.

ReplyDeleteum somehow I was under kent's name? I didn't even know kent had a name. Anyway it's Cassie and I originally said "here here!" to your hair stylist post. And yay for blogs :)
ReplyDeleteLoooove it Trish! There is something so refreshing about people who can say it like it is! I think your worth more than you charge. I for one wish people would invest more into hair and looking attractive. And I blogged about the whole being on time thing myself a while back. I have a billion kids and I can do it. Its like spitting in some ones face to waste their time by being late or not showing.
ReplyDeleteYou are totally right Camille, how are things? How was the move? I totally miss you. I mean it.
