Don't you wish you could spend Halloween with me?

Allisandria as a cow last year.
I really enjoyed lurking in the shadows and scaring unfortunate souls after we made the trick or treating rounds to friends houses. I really did actually do it. Since I am preggers this year, I may go even scarier.
Thank you Better HOmes and Gardens Magazine, Michael's and Martha Stewart. Allisandria helped in the design. (She loves the birds)Halloween has become my favorite holiday. This year I plan on transforming the garage in a haunted house> Each year I am gonna buy more clearance stuff so it gets better and scarier. There is a huge Skeleton at Michaels that I want, Allisandria about crapped her pants when I touched it and it started moving and talking. Then I did it again and she cried. I laughed so hard. It was awesome. Marideth told me, "it's okay, it's funny, it's good for her." I wonder what she will do when I get the other stuff that is scary out for decorating the house. She loved the little black birds. Thanks Martha Stewart.

Cooler weather/ Can I take a message?

Finally the weather is slowly cooling down. We have been playing outside in the mornings and evenings. Walks are really nice in the evening. The dogs, the wagon, my husband, my daughter. What cuter image could you have? Bubbles and sidewalk chalk are new passions of Allisandria's. She also loves scooping up the rocks. I wonder if I could teach her the difference between dog poo and rocks, so she could help me do poopy duty?
My new favorite thing is when Allisandria is talking on the phone and she puts it on her shoulder and holds it with her cheek while writing in my appointment book. I think she has see me do that one too many times.

sewing.
A hooded towel that I free hand embroidered with my machine
cute blanket set with my favorite item, the snuggly
Onesie that I embroidered for a friend"where did you come from?" said my mother....
I replied, "I am your child."
It is a new hobby and I love doing small projects so kid stuff is perfect. If you have knewn me for a long time ( I mean long time) YOu know that I change the look of my handwriting because I get bored with the same penminship. You know that I change my makeup all the time. You know that when it comes to drawing I can't leave an undone portriat, that is why i get them done so fast. I want to see the results. You know that when I am doing color, i don't talk, so that I can get the foils on and the color applied so I can get you processing cause I want to see the results. Now when it comes to sewing, I get too excited. I do small projects that I can do in a sitting or I will probably end up like my mother sewing at 3 am eating Juji Fruits and Hershey's Almond Nuggets with a Diet coke that is watered down. I have found a new release. I love it and hope to become like my mother who made my wedding dress. I love my wedding dress. It is everything that I imagined. My mother can hardly believe that i have picked up this hobby, and that I actually enjoy cooking and entertaining. I have amazed her in the last few years. I find myself more and more like her. I am proud of it. She aint that bad. If you want to see all my craftiness, you can go to my other blog http://www.babynightnightbotique.blogspot.com/. Enjoy.

Anabella
Still a girl!!! ;)
footprint
Her body in a nutshell
Do you see the eyeball?Yesturday I had my 19 week check up. They did an ultrasound to measure all the anatomy of the baby, and i made sure they checked to make sure it is still a girl. Nightmares get the best of me and i just purchased her very cute fabric for her baby bedding.
It has been so fun to see her through the amazing technoloy we have today. I have been lucky enough to have an ultrasound every time so far. that is 4 already, when I am supposed to receive 3. I love it. I have been able to see her at all her little stages. Especially now since I have been feeling her move for the last few weeks, i can see what she is doing in there and what she looks like (kind of). My belly is growing and popping out. I will take a picture next week.
We have decided on Anabella. We would like a cute, short and sweet middle name but can't think of one. Every thing we think of is named after someone else. Here is what we like, but won't use so you can get the idea and help us with some names. Reese, Noel, Grace, Rose (we really love that but don't knwo if it flows with Riggio. Anabella Rose Riggio?) Suzanne, Shalyce, Nicolette. Give me your ideas!!!!!
Golfing

Dave has had so many wonderful opportunities to play in tournaments all over the valley. The guys he works with pay for him and even give hime awesome clothing or golfing accessories. Just yesturday, the 18th of sept, he played in a tournament and birdied 7 holes!!! He was so happy to tell me when he got home. I am his biggest critic, and I am so proud of him. He was beaming. He also got 4 really awesome golf shirts from the guy that took him to this tournament. Not bad for a friday's day of work right?
WA State!

"Driving" Gpa's car. So over labor day weekend, my cute little family and myself headed up to the NW in Ridgfeild WA for some cooler weather and to visit my family up there. We headed out Saturday septemeber 5th. Allisandria was an angel on the flight. With the weather in phoenix still in the 100's, we were anxious to get to the cooler, 65 degree weather in WA. We landed and I could smell the crisp, refreshing air while small little rain drops drizzled their way to the cold earth. I was home. Allisandria was quite shocked i am sure to feel such a breeze over her little arms. My dad was their waiting for us and ready to take us back to my parents house where Shalyce and Coby and their three daughters, Sage, and the twins Mira and Reese, awaited us. Oh it is so good to be back home.
That day was the big BYU/Oklahoma game. Of course it was quite intense with all the men, Dad, Dave, Coby and Ben watching the game. Screaming and yelling and Cheering. needless to say BYU won!. Go Cougars!!! All weekend was filled with relaxing, golfing, fishing, visiting and of course eating really good food. you can't go wrong.
Allisandria loves her gma and gpa. She followed Gpa wherever he went. He even let her sit in the van while he was out in the garage. Now, she loves to drive cars. Thanks Dad. I guess grandparents really are allowed to do whatever they want. It's their right I guess.
IT was so much fun spending time with my sisters and my cousins. Dave got to go golfing, which he ended up hitting the guy in front of them with a ball, so funny, he also went fishing with my dad and my brother in law, Eric, and my nephews, Austin and Carson.
I was able to visit a good friend whom I have known and been close to since the 5th grade. She is also pregnant and due 4 days before me. She also just found out she is having a girl. Congrats Erin and Ryan. Love ya.
I got to do a girl day with Tasha and we went to the mall. Is is always so fun to be with her. We are quite the pair when we shop. I also, while we were there, cut little Pia's hair 3 inches!!!!! Now it is all one length and super cute. You can kind of see in the pictures of her in the driver's seat of the van.

ZZZzzzzzz.....
For the last couple of weeks, Allisandria has been waking up in the night aroung 12:45- 1:00am. She screams and screams and wants to be held. At first She had a cold at the beginning of this drama, so I thought it was that she couldn't breath and it scared her to wake up and want mommy. Well she then got better. Still waking up, we knew that from her "sickness" she had gotten used to sleeping with mommy and daddy. I know that is a big No No. So for the last week of this 2 week thing, we tried everything. I even cried a little in the middle of the night feeling guilty for having McDonalds that day. I was worried that the greasy fries were upsetting her little tummy. So I made sure that she was eating really good breakfasts and lunches. dinners are always hit and miss. I thought maybe she is waking up because of being hungry. So I made sure she was eating enough at dinner by adding a smoothie with yogurt, milk and fruit. That didn't work. So Then becuase of the waking up and us trying to put her back in her crib once she falls asleep, she wasn't getting all the rest she normally does, so she was taking good long naps. So the last couple of days I was thinking maybe her naps are too long and it is waking her up from her night time sleep. Soooooo....yesturday I tried the "no nap" thing. She started getting exhausted when my friend was baby sitting for me while i went to work. I told her to try to keep her up cause of my new plan of action. She succeeded then dave picked her up. I was coming home from work when he called and said, "you better get home quick she is asleep in my arms." It was about 6:30 at that point. She had fallen asleep in her high chair eating her peanuts and raisins. So I hurried home to find her awake. we ate dinner really quick and I got her ready for bed. I thought for sure this was the night. I was wrong!!!!!!!!!!! So after her warm milk and giving her snuggles before bed, I attempted to put her in her crib. She started screaming. I walked into my room. I new it wouldn't end because the night before she I tried to let her cry and she cried for an hour. so after about 10 minutes i went back inthere. i snuggled her and she fell asleep. I knew she was pooped, so i tried again placing her in her crib. No good skipper. I then began to cry. I layed with her on the couch she slept I cried. I tried everything and nothing was working. Dave finally had to intervene. She just wanted to be with Mommy. he took her and snuggled. I went in the bedroom and cried while asking my sister for advice on the phone. not too long after, Dave came in. He was successfull. Allisandria slept all night for all i know. I turned the moniter volume down so all i could see was the light flashing if she was crying. It is so bright that even in my sleep it can wake me. She slept til 5 am. early, but she slept almost her normal amount. She usually wakes around 6:30 before this whole sleeping drama. I am going to attempt again today, but just do a short nap, and Dave is putting her to bed from now on. if she cries, she cries. I can't do this anymore. AAAAHHHHH!

6 years and going...

On Saturday, August 29th, Dave and I celebrated our six year anniversary. Since it was my turn to plan the day I decided it would be such a treat for dave if I went golfing with him. Now if you know me, you know my patience is thin, especially with golf. I usually call it quits after the first couple of holes and find the nearest prairie dog to run over with the golf cart, or do skids on the gravel. I thought taht since being a mother, patience has been a virtue for me and I have gained a little bit of it. I could certainly do at least 9 holes. We got up early before Allisandria woke, who had a baby sitter, and headed off to the course. I was a little nervous, not ever golfing while pregnant and hadn't swung a club in almost 4 years, I could remember if I would pull any muscels or not. I streteched. We hit a few balls in the range and it all came back. I was surprised that my swing was still alright. Dad always told me I had a natural swing, I guess I do. It definately wasn't perfect, but I got some good distance. We started the 9 and there were good holes and bad. Dave and I both ended the game with a great hole though. I ended up doing the best on the par 3's. I even parred one. Dave beat me of course. He has been golfing like every week. I am glad, this is turning into his favorite hobby. All the little golf gadgets he brings home and the watchign of the golf channel. I think he might be turnign into my father. That's okay. After golf, we went home for a few hours and got ready to head out to dinner. I had made reservations for the Melting Pot out in Scottsdale. We went there last year for our anniverseray and I loved it. So I wanted a repeat. We went all out getting the 4 course meal. IT was great!!!!We got home aroung 8:30 relieved the baby sitter and put little miss to bed. We watched
7 Pounds in bed. Dave was amazed that I didn't even fall asleep. The dinner made me super full, so I wasn't all that relaxed enough to sleep. IT was an interesting movie. Love ya Dave. Happy 6th.
I did it!
I did it ya'll. I put in my notice at work. I will be officially done at the salon starting the beginning of November. I am really excited and a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I know my family and I will be blessed. This has been such a sacrafice, but now that it is done, it was easy. Thanks for the support!
