6 years and going...

On Saturday, August 29th, Dave and I celebrated our six year anniversary. Since it was my turn to plan the day I decided it would be such a treat for dave if I went golfing with him. Now if you know me, you know my patience is thin, especially with golf. I usually call it quits after the first couple of holes and find the nearest prairie dog to run over with the golf cart, or do skids on the gravel. I thought taht since being a mother, patience has been a virtue for me and I have gained a little bit of it. I could certainly do at least 9 holes. We got up early before Allisandria woke, who had a baby sitter, and headed off to the course. I was a little nervous, not ever golfing while pregnant and hadn't swung a club in almost 4 years, I could remember if I would pull any muscels or not. I streteched. We hit a few balls in the range and it all came back. I was surprised that my swing was still alright. Dad always told me I had a natural swing, I guess I do. It definately wasn't perfect, but I got some good distance. We started the 9 and there were good holes and bad. Dave and I both ended the game with a great hole though. I ended up doing the best on the par 3's. I even parred one. Dave beat me of course. He has been golfing like every week. I am glad, this is turning into his favorite hobby. All the little golf gadgets he brings home and the watchign of the golf channel. I think he might be turnign into my father. That's okay. After golf, we went home for a few hours and got ready to head out to dinner. I had made reservations for the Melting Pot out in Scottsdale. We went there last year for our anniverseray and I loved it. So I wanted a repeat. We went all out getting the 4 course meal. IT was great!!!!We got home aroung 8:30 relieved the baby sitter and put little miss to bed. We watched

7 Pounds in bed. Dave was amazed that I didn't even fall asleep. The dinner made me super full, so I wasn't all that relaxed enough to sleep. IT was an interesting movie. Love ya Dave. Happy 6th.
