ZZZzzzzzz.....
For the last couple of weeks, Allisandria has been waking up in the night aroung 12:45- 1:00am. She screams and screams and wants to be held. At first She had a cold at the beginning of this drama, so I thought it was that she couldn't breath and it scared her to wake up and want mommy. Well she then got better. Still waking up, we knew that from her "sickness" she had gotten used to sleeping with mommy and daddy. I know that is a big No No. So for the last week of this 2 week thing, we tried everything. I even cried a little in the middle of the night feeling guilty for having McDonalds that day. I was worried that the greasy fries were upsetting her little tummy. So I made sure that she was eating really good breakfasts and lunches. dinners are always hit and miss. I thought maybe she is waking up because of being hungry. So I made sure she was eating enough at dinner by adding a smoothie with yogurt, milk and fruit. That didn't work. So Then becuase of the waking up and us trying to put her back in her crib once she falls asleep, she wasn't getting all the rest she normally does, so she was taking good long naps. So the last couple of days I was thinking maybe her naps are too long and it is waking her up from her night time sleep. Soooooo....yesturday I tried the "no nap" thing. She started getting exhausted when my friend was baby sitting for me while i went to work. I told her to try to keep her up cause of my new plan of action. She succeeded then dave picked her up. I was coming home from work when he called and said, "you better get home quick she is asleep in my arms." It was about 6:30 at that point. She had fallen asleep in her high chair eating her peanuts and raisins. So I hurried home to find her awake. we ate dinner really quick and I got her ready for bed. I thought for sure this was the night. I was wrong!!!!!!!!!!! So after her warm milk and giving her snuggles before bed, I attempted to put her in her crib. She started screaming. I walked into my room. I new it wouldn't end because the night before she I tried to let her cry and she cried for an hour. so after about 10 minutes i went back inthere. i snuggled her and she fell asleep. I knew she was pooped, so i tried again placing her in her crib. No good skipper. I then began to cry. I layed with her on the couch she slept I cried. I tried everything and nothing was working. Dave finally had to intervene. She just wanted to be with Mommy. he took her and snuggled. I went in the bedroom and cried while asking my sister for advice on the phone. not too long after, Dave came in. He was successfull. Allisandria slept all night for all i know. I turned the moniter volume down so all i could see was the light flashing if she was crying. It is so bright that even in my sleep it can wake me. She slept til 5 am. early, but she slept almost her normal amount. She usually wakes around 6:30 before this whole sleeping drama. I am going to attempt again today, but just do a short nap, and Dave is putting her to bed from now on. if she cries, she cries. I can't do this anymore. AAAAHHHHH!

That's so tough. We have the same problem with Savannah. Steve has to get her ready for bed and if she needs something in the middle of the night, he has to be the one to help her. If it is me, she will just cry and cry when I leave. It has worked for us so far. I am due on Nov. 2. Our nursery is going to be pink and brown.
