Lately

As I have said before, I am working from home now so I can be with Allisandria more. I have been home now for a few weeks and I am totally loving it. I still totally miss the salon I was at and seeing everyone a couple times a weeks, but working from home has been so convenient for me. I work while Pia is asleep at naptime and I work a night or two when Dave is home from work, and then a few hours on Saturdays. It is so nice not having to put the burden of a toddler needing to be babysat on my friend anymore. All of my clients that have followed me home have been super supportive of me and my decision to be at home with my family. I am so grateful that I have a skill that allows me to bring in $$ while being home. I couldn't ask for a better home to be living in either. The front of the house has a small bedroom and full bathroom that I use as the Salon and the Shampoo area. Heidi was so sweet to give me my shampoo sink for my birthday a couple years ago. Now I have everything I ever need.

Lately I have been feeling quite grateful for many things. A couple weeks ago, Dave's Dad, Sam, and his stepmommy, Sally, came into town for a few days. Allisandria loves grandma's and grandpa's so she was quite excited. The words "bapa bapa" were the only ones I heard the whole time they were with us. They always bring her a little gift when they visit. This time she got a whinnie the pooh car/plane that she sits on and rides. The propellers move, and there are little shape blocks she can put in the seat. It plays music and she absolutely loves it. They are such sweet grandparents to her and she loves them so much.

During their stay, Dave drove them up to Sedona for the day. They enjoyed trolly tours and great food along with the beautiful scenery Sedona had to offer. I missed out on the outing, because I had appointments that I couldn't reschedule, but I know they loved the little drive and enjoyed spending quality time with Dave and Allisandria alone. Thanks for visiting Sam and Sally, we love you guys.
