Today....

First thing this morning I had Anabellas six month appointment.  She is a little fatty.  18.1 lbs, 28 in. Long. Fat and happy. The dr. Thought she was just beautiful and perfect with her round face, big eyes and dark hair with a cute little flowers clip to top her off. You cant beat the huge smile with her teeth showing on the bottom.   Aaaaggh she is so stinking cute. She got two shots, cried for only a second and was zonked out on the car ride home.
What a sweet baby.

Allisandria has only one week left for her cast.  The thing is starting to stink.  We have gotten it kind of wet a few times...ooops.  she is using it a lot, but has become quite good at coloring with her left hand.  Not that there is anything wrong with lefties, but I want her to still use her right hand when she gets her cast off.  I don't know why,  but I keep trying to remind her to color with her "cast" hand.  She finds it kind of difficult since it is a full arm cast and she can't extend it at all.  Oh well we will see next Wednesday when it comes off.
Today I made a cute tshirt out of one of my green shirts to match a skirt I made for pia.  Totally cute.  I want to make some matching knee high socks to go with it for winter time....that is my next thing to learn. "Baby leggs".  Basically a cute baby version of leg warmers.  Never thought those would make a comeback.
I played a lot today with allisandria.  The days I do that, whether it is dancing around in the living room, jamming out in the van when we are driving, building towers, playing hide and seek,  we just have a great time.  I hid in the bathroom shower and Bo was watching me from the hallway.  I could see him thru the reflection on the shower wall slowly walking toward the shower so I flung the curtain open and scared him.  He flew back and yelped.  He litterally was scared that he "screamed".  I was laughing sooooo hard pia kept on asking for more.  Poor bo will be having nightmares about the shower curtain tonight.  The last couple of days I have noticed a few things about Allisandria.  She is 2 yrs old.  She is right in the middle of a toddler and a kid, which means she is right in the middle of understanding and not understanding.  She tries to, but sometimes it gets her into trouble.  She loooves to play with her toys, but sometimes forgets she has them, or she just needs to be reminded how to play with them.  My opinion is that little toddlers need to be taught how to play.  They need to be shown a little imagination and make believe in order to have their imaginations soar.  We have had such a great time playing,  she has done better playing by herself too.  I don't always want to play with her cause I want her to entertain herslef at times, but other times I love to play with her.  I even have a good time. I am really trying to take more time to relax and really enjoy my children while they are still with me.  I want her to remember me as being fun.  I like to think that I am.  There is nothing better than hearing your kids laugh.  It truely is music to my ears!

Xoxo, Tricia
