We were able to stay with Shalyce and Coby and their three girls Sage, Reese and Mira. We had a wonderful time. I have never really stayed and hung out with shalyce for that long before and it was so fun. They girls had so much fun losing themselves in fashion shows, barbies and funny putty. Thanks uncle Aaron for the Funny putty and all the gifts for the kids. It definately got use and lots of laughs were a result of it.
While Shalyce worked in the mornings, I worked hard at keeping all the kids occupied without bothering shalyce too much. We went on outdoor adventures learning about ants and their tremendous team work abilities, nature scavenger hunt. They learned about leafs, ants, rocks etc. They built a rock formation. The challenge was to put it somewhere and see how long it would stay erect. It lasted a day until Allisandria accidentally knocked it over. The kids freaked out a bit, but I assured them that life wasn't over. That they could build rock formations any where. That is the fun of it. I surprised myself with the things I taught them about nature. Ha...who would have thought. I got some great portraits using my fun new camera. Which then turned into a Patato Bug Rollie Pollie savanger hunt. Mira had them crawling out of her hands. I thought she would have for sure smashed them with how many she was holding. They all made it out alive though. Allisandria of course was a little terrified of touching one. Bella was a little more brave. She would touch it but no way was she going to hold one. Good job Johns girls. You are brave. my girls need to suck it up. Cowboy up, daddy would say. Truely they do..
Loved this time we spent at their house. Coby was so much fun with the kids and of course was amazing with Grey. He really likes babies. So I made sure Grey was equipt with a 'Y" onesie and some bball shorts. We ate amazing food. Shalyce is great! Wish I had pictures of our dinners. Yumm!
