Greyson...little boy. Growing up so fast. He often puts on silly faces and definately knows how to put on the charm. All those teeth. They kill me. Even in just a white onesie, this boy steels my heart. Every time.
There is not a day that goes by when the sweet nectar of Otter Pops don't get pulled out. Although they are challenging to conquer for eager little fingers, every one managed to get the routine down pat on the art of eating one's Otter Pop. Even Greyson no longer needs assistance.
With it being a million degrees here in Phoenix, its a must to be wet if you walk outside. So much that it is annoying to get changed into swimming attire each time. So we would just get wet in our clothes. The littles would strip down in their undies afterward, I would get the shampoo out and we would do a little outdoor showering :)
My first attempt at a Garden this year. Everything was going really well. Unfortunately while we were gone for a month, them temperatures hit a million and ONE and all the goodies that were ready to harvest all got baked. It stunted the growth of my watermelons and killed 3 out of 4 tomato plants. Zucchini roasted away, Cucumbers grew like crazy, but no bees pollinated so that was a waste of 4 plants, but sure enough the basil held strong. So much it bolted to flowering. Thick heavy branches took place and I had to trip it way down so that nice flexable green branches would start growing again. I tore out the Zucchini and started fresh. Birds have been my worst enemy so I had to create little shelters out of water bottles while my seedlings sprouted.
I decided to build a garden bed for pumpkins. Pretty proud that I build a 1.5 x 6 foot garden bed. Wood and Soil together totalling around $35.
