Thanksgiving is always fun to prepare for. I spent he whole day before baking some delicious apple bars and pecan pie tarts just like mom makes. The sweet aroma o fresh cranberries melting into the fresh sweet potatoes slowly cooking in the crockpot filled my kitchen the morning of. We were definitely ready to feast. We gathered at the nelson family household. Lounging around was top priority as well as catching the latest football updates. I enjoyed looking in the family room and seeing our two families become one once again. We couldn't have asked for more. Delicious food, thanksgiving and Black Friday adds, naps, and dessert, then a later movie and popcorn to top it off. That's my kind of holiday.
