Life- my journal-

The last week has been quite eventful. Well actually it started a couple of weeks ago. I got recruited to join the awesome Stake Aerobics. Cute girl, Emily, from my ward instructs, so I am supporting her. I thought I would never conform. I am conforming to a lot of things lately, so I guess that doesn't mean a thing. I started, I did it, and am still doin it. It is a good hour of sweating to awesome music. If you have heard it, then you know what I mean. I tried to bring my good old volleyball cd, but the music was too fast. We were doin triple time. So then, we switched back. sorry. Allisandria didn't quite understand what was going on, she cried. Now she just follows along with some of the moves. Last Wednesday the 10th, I went to work with dave. That meant we drove down to Tucson, and looked at properties that are being foreclosed on by Wachovia. That is what he does. He then looks and assess all the damage that people do to them when they are kicked out, and fixes them up with the contractors that he hires. Then he has Realtors sell the properties back out. There are some great deals man. But let me tell you. I wish I had pictures of some of these properties. They are in such foul shape. I can't believe what people do and how they live. All in all it was a fun day to spend with Daddy. Allisandria was really good, spite the fever that she had been fighting the evening prior.
Thursday she still had a little fever when she woke in the middle of the night and we put her in bed with us. I work on thursdays so I was hoping that the fever would subside. My good friend Marideth watched her for me and sure enough she got another fever. They weren't too high of fevers, 100.9 at the highest, but it was still enought that she wasn't acting herself. Along with the fever, she had green goo coming from her nose. Again Thursday night she woke up just after midnight. Dave brought her in bed with us again. Friday, I called the nurse. She said bring her in. Dr. Nem. checked her, good old common cold. Nothing some rest, and Z-pack can't fix. Today she is doing great. Today is the last day for the z-pack.
Yesturday I finally finished Breaking Dawn. Why do I love these books. That is another thing I conformed to. I believe Camille is the only one who has held out. These have been such a great alternative to watching tv. Although I still do that in the evening. But these are jsut as dramatic and exciting as watching Grey's Anatomy. Now what am I gonna read? Maybe I will start them over.
I planted flowers in pots last week and bought a nector bird feeder and hung it. Allisandria and I go out in the morning when the weather is perfect and the porch is shaded and she plays in teh rocks, digging. Now that she wants to go outside. She loves birds so I thought it would be fun to get a bird feeder so she can seem them close up. They come and go. They are so cute. It is so relaxing and fun seeing her playing outside. We sat with her in nursery on sunday. She was sitting at the table eating snacks and I had a moment. SHe looked so BIG sitting there. And that is how it is she keeps getting bigger and bigger.
Dave got a chance to go golfing last week at this $200,000 membership country club in scottsdale. The guy who has the membership is trying to get Dave's business so he was pampering him. It is around $200 a round. Dave said it was amazing. Catered breakfast, lunch, food offered all through out the course. Amazing restrooms with towels. Where was they guy who sits in the corner in the restroom? He was probably there putting out personalized soaps at each of the sinks. This was top notch. He loved every minute of it. He bought a couple of new clubs this past couple of months. He really enjoys this sport. He is getting better and better everytime he plays. He always tells me " you got your friends and your pedicures and stuff, I need my golf." He is right. My toes do always look good. lol.
I cut and colored my hair. LYnsee did it for me. I got a longer bob, and colored it a darker blond to blend in with my natural color along with a few hilites. I love the new look. I needed a change. I was looking like one of Heff's girls with all the blonde in my hair. I toned it down. Love it!! Thanks Lynsee!!!!

  1. I can't believe you are going to aerobics. I am so proud of you. I know its hard to conform. I swore to myself I would never buy Dora the Explorer crap for my kids and we now have a Dora bike, pajamas, plate and cup set, and 6 movies. My prayer is that I dont give on the Hannah Montana crap but we will see.
