Sorry

Dear allisandria,
I am sorry for yelling at you today.  I am sorry I was a horrible mother today.  The only thing you did wrong was beg for my attention...which wasn't even wrong.  I promise from here on out...no more sewing while you are awake.  I love you, even though you darn near chopped my pinky off with the rotary cutter.
Love,
Mommy

Bubbles

Just another day with bubbles.  We had been out for a while and I kept on telling her we would get more...but of course I always forgot.  She reminded me yesturdar at the party store as we wlked by the bubble isle.  We got a six pack.  Bubbles are so cheap I don't really care if she spills them and such.  What does bug me is when she is doing it and makes a mess of her hands then proceeds to rub her eyes...smart.  I forget that she has never gotten soap in her eyes.  How else would she know? Funny girl

Family dog pile

Let the fun begin...there's nothing like a good Baby Einstein movie, some pillows, a princess sofa, a freshly bathed fat baby who smells like lavender baby lotion, a man who is wrapped around all our fingers, and two dogs that will do anything for a good snuggle, and of course mom taking the pictures.  Good night every one!

Really=?UTF-8?B?Pw==?=

So I just went and got the van washed inside and out.  I pull up to the guy to tell him what I want and he proceeds to tell me I look like the perfect model for a mini van commercial with my makeup on and my baseball cap on...and the two kids in the back.   I am not sure how to take that...either I have conformed to the image I loath the most, a mormon mom waggin around in a flippen mini van, or he thinks I am a hot mom...I will take that he thinks I am hot... ;0)

What a day

Today was one of those days at church.  A day where the spirit was so strong that I almost had to step out of sacrament meeting because I was crying so bad.  Man the tears were just streamin.  Then of course it calls attention and people were asking me if I was ok...I am okay...just an over whelming day.  Here are th reasons why I cried.

Our ward is awesome...looooooove our leadership...love our friends...I don't want to leave and I know if dave find a job in WA soon then we will be leaving but not from my choice.  I can't see myself living anywhere else.  This is my home...my friends are my home...even the scorpions...well maybe not those...but what could I possibly hunt up in washington with a black light. ..dog pee?

Then all the lessons were amazing. ..we are so responsible for being missionaries being members of the church.  It is hard but the payoff is fantastic.
Even though Sunday s are especially hard with pia not getting a nap, she was horrible as usual but tonight I just want to kiss her to death.  I live hearing her talk. .her little two year old voice.

I love my husband. ..sunday is always hard for us. But at the end of the day I loooooove him so much.  He really does love me.
I have it.  Even through all the crappy stuff I go through every day....but at the end of the day I am living my dream. Married, kids, stay at home mom...who runs two home business.  I love my life... crap,  scorpions and all.

The end of the week

This needs to be a ritual at the end of every week...pedicures are Gods way of telling us "good job for not killing your 2 year old this week" or "good job doing the dishes...again...for the 10th time today."  Since I don't do alcohol, this will have to do.

This week especially has been hard even though just the opposite, it has been great.
I danced a lot with Allisandria
Then...she knocks Bella over from sitting up
I built a huge tower out of blocks
Then...she runs from me at the grocery store, and as I go to grab her, I slip and fall right on my butt. I then get up and drag her to the next isle where Bella is patiently waiting in the cart.
Allisandria laid by Bella and played pat a cake
Then...she decided naptime was for the birds and spent "naptime" in timeout, on her bed reading books, while I worked on things that I can't do but in naptime.
Went to the park and took the dogs for a walk
Then...Bo threw up all day from what I think was heat exhaustion from the walk.  I took him in the morning.  It hadn't hit 100 yet and we had been wlking them multiple times a week for a couple of weeks.  So my house smelt "amazing", had to cancel hair appointments cause I didn't want to offend anyone with the smell, and made a late trip to the store to pick up fabreeze candles and borrow Mar's carpet cleaner...whhhew! Done...wait not yet.
Even though Allisandria didn't take a nap, she was a pretty good girl...
Then after dinner she was complaining about her toe that she stubbed earlier in the week and cut the toe nail off in the quick.  We told her we would put a bandaid on and give her medicine and put a sock on,  she wasn't having it.  We forced her. Dave held her down as I put neosprin and the bandaid on.  Kicking and screaming, she peed on Dave...he was rightfully pissed,  but forgot to console his daughter who was histerical at thatb point.  She was freeeeeaking out. I picked her up, pee and all and held her, tooker her clothes off...still screaming...got her in her jammies.  She asked to go to bed. I snuggled with her, then dad came in and wanted a kiss...she wouldn't give him one.  She really was mad at him...sad.  I am sure he felt like crap.
Life can only get better right?   Then the Lord whispers in my ear...."may get better,  but things will be harder too. Aren't you excited?"
Just get me throught the 2's stage and ask me that again.

The scorpion master

This little flash light is something that the Lord made so that I could have a cheap thrill.  I have been wanting to hunt for these suckers for sometime now, but only had a huge gigantic halloween black light.  Then my sweet friends blogged about this amazing tool and I got gitty.
Today my good friend and I went to lowes to get somethings....this was on my list.  As we swam in her pool today we were accompanied by a huge wolf spider that was bigger than any I have ever seen.   The sucker walked on water...not cool.  So we both were freakin about who was gonna kill it...I won that prize.  I tried, the thing ran on the water into the filter thing.  We screamed and jumped out of the pool like no ones business.  Trying to assure my little pia that everything was okay.  She took the lid off the filter in the cool decking and there it was. I had to lift the basket out of the whole while the whole time the thing is just inches away from my fingers.  I dropped it, screamed and marideth smashed it with her flip flop....that was just a preview of what was about to happen tonight.
I got my shoes on (closed toed) my hammer and my new scorpion king light.  I found a little sucker right in a little crevace.  Flabbergasted and excited, a little pissed and scared, my beating heart dragged me to the door as I yelled at Dave to come see.  He came out with me and held the light while I attempted to beat the crap out of this deadly thing...the hammer was no match.  The tiny little scorpion scurried its glowing little body into the crack.  Dang!
I continued on to the side of the house. Nothing.  Back to the center and on.  Luck! Kind of.  In another crack I could see the front legs peeking out.  Not enough for a kill.  It got scared and completely dissappeared out of my lights sight.  I continued on to the other side.  Bam!  Big one right on the wall for a perfect kill.  Dave held the light again as the thing started scurring.  I beat the crap out of that one while throwing a few little cusses it's way.  That is the picture you see.  See how they glow?  It is amazing.  So I am totally sure that the Lord made them glow for a reason.  It is the only way to find the stinkers.  Plus I am sure he laughs when he watches us get all geared up for the hunt.  Marideth was supposed to accompany me tonight, but her son had his first football game and they were celebrating.  Tomorrow though.....huh!  That will be fun.  Video and audio baby...the scorpion queens documentary.  Stay tuned!
The best $15 I spent in a long time.  This will be a nightly activity for me for many many night!  I feel so...empowered...self reliant...like I have saved the life of someone...lol.  I save lives a lot ;0).
Night! Don't let the scorpions bite (sting).

95 degrees

Enjoying the park this afternoon.  Weather is below 100...for now.  Its amazing how the temperature which is really warm for the rest of the world, feels cool...to me...in AZ.
I am all about taking "time out" for my girls and husband these days. My patience seems to be much greater when I take time to play with the girls...ironic...I am more patient the more time I spend...huh, funny.

Cast off

This poor girl freeeaaaked out.  She was good for the freaking saw blade, but startedvto cry when the nurse wanted to cut the coronary sock off. I had to put the phone down and put her on my lap and hold her hand down. Then she was okay.  After that they wanted to do another xray to see how the bones were doing. The xray technician was not a good match for allisandria. She didn't comfort her in any way.  She treated pia ike she should know better.  So I loved on pia and asked her silly questions while the beast lady took her hand and placed it roughly on the table.  Horrible.  I wanted to ring her neck.  After that we went to the exam room to wait for the dr.  She is a sweet lady and was very sweet to allisandria.  They gave her toys and talked to her sweet but she was still crying.  I held her and she was just shaking.  I almost wanted to cry cause she was so scared.  So check out the video clips and photos and see how she reacts to everything.

Sweet little words

For the past two days, allisandria has said her prayers all ny herself.  I just love to hear her sweet voice saying her interpretation of the words used in prayers. She forgot to bless dave and I the first night but of course remembered the dogs.  Tonight though she remembered us...and the dogs, but forgot bella.  Oh well. She was so proud of herself and wears the biggest smile on her face afterwards.  She loves to kneel at het bed and at the couch and bury her facevin het hands like dave and I sometimes do. What a little sponge.
Now bells is just still fat and happy. She us starting to get really excited when I out her in her chair to eat. At first, feeding her baby food was such a chore, she would purse her lips shake her head and cry.  Now she isn't crying and only purses her lips occasionally with the vegetables.  Pia never did that she ate everything, but peas, with ease.  This little frit has a different agenda, but dr. Says to always make her eat. Dont make the good disappear cause she fusses.  Keep offering it til she opens her mouth. Of course that makes sense but then it was taking forever to feed her. She is getting better. Since I make my own food, I have saved soooooo much money. She looves the mashed bananas.  She won't refuse that. ...ever.
Enjoy this video.   Notice how she says. "Sleeping beauty ". Snunnel booty lol lol!

Today....

First thing this morning I had Anabellas six month appointment.  She is a little fatty.  18.1 lbs, 28 in. Long. Fat and happy. The dr. Thought she was just beautiful and perfect with her round face, big eyes and dark hair with a cute little flowers clip to top her off. You cant beat the huge smile with her teeth showing on the bottom.   Aaaaggh she is so stinking cute. She got two shots, cried for only a second and was zonked out on the car ride home.
What a sweet baby.

Allisandria has only one week left for her cast.  The thing is starting to stink.  We have gotten it kind of wet a few times...ooops.  she is using it a lot, but has become quite good at coloring with her left hand.  Not that there is anything wrong with lefties, but I want her to still use her right hand when she gets her cast off.  I don't know why,  but I keep trying to remind her to color with her "cast" hand.  She finds it kind of difficult since it is a full arm cast and she can't extend it at all.  Oh well we will see next Wednesday when it comes off.
Today I made a cute tshirt out of one of my green shirts to match a skirt I made for pia.  Totally cute.  I want to make some matching knee high socks to go with it for winter time....that is my next thing to learn. "Baby leggs".  Basically a cute baby version of leg warmers.  Never thought those would make a comeback.
I played a lot today with allisandria.  The days I do that, whether it is dancing around in the living room, jamming out in the van when we are driving, building towers, playing hide and seek,  we just have a great time.  I hid in the bathroom shower and Bo was watching me from the hallway.  I could see him thru the reflection on the shower wall slowly walking toward the shower so I flung the curtain open and scared him.  He flew back and yelped.  He litterally was scared that he "screamed".  I was laughing sooooo hard pia kept on asking for more.  Poor bo will be having nightmares about the shower curtain tonight.  The last couple of days I have noticed a few things about Allisandria.  She is 2 yrs old.  She is right in the middle of a toddler and a kid, which means she is right in the middle of understanding and not understanding.  She tries to, but sometimes it gets her into trouble.  She loooves to play with her toys, but sometimes forgets she has them, or she just needs to be reminded how to play with them.  My opinion is that little toddlers need to be taught how to play.  They need to be shown a little imagination and make believe in order to have their imaginations soar.  We have had such a great time playing,  she has done better playing by herself too.  I don't always want to play with her cause I want her to entertain herslef at times, but other times I love to play with her.  I even have a good time. I am really trying to take more time to relax and really enjoy my children while they are still with me.  I want her to remember me as being fun.  I like to think that I am.  There is nothing better than hearing your kids laugh.  It truely is music to my ears!

Say "hello" to my little friend

HOLY CRAP! Thanks Marideth for saving our lives! I will now be having nightmares about scorpions in all our beds.
We were gone for the evening and had Kolter and Marideth come and take care of the dogs and such put them out for potty. Marideth proceeded to hit the buttons on the garage key pad and saw something scurry past near her fingers. She thought it was a cricket, then suddenly with the lights from the car shining o're her, the Scorpion made itself known. She quickly started ninja kicking the scorpion that was on the house. (i would have loved to see her do that!!) She was successful, but then left it there as a token as her love for me.
