Slap slap

You'll hear it when she army crawls. 'nough said.

New passion

In her little baby language, Bella talks to dogs. She gets so giddy and about falls right out of the stroller. We have to make sure she is buckled in tightly cause she leans so far forward to see the dogs. She barks and slaps her hand to her legs. Too cute.
Thanks!

Growing up

We decided on a whim while at the mall to peirce bellas ears. We wanted to do it a while ago but one store told us her ear lobes were too little it they might grow out funny. So we decided to wait. Then while at tre mall we were about to pass The Peircing Pagoda and I thought I would get a second opinion. She said they were perfectly normal and we could do it. Awesome! We did, she cried for only a few seconds then was happy. They did them both at the same time which was nice Bella just had to hold still long enough for both girls to be ready. She did it! So sweet right?

Pretties

These are the pretty roses Dave got me for valentines day.  I have been loving the beauty of fresh flowers more than I have in the past.  I really love and appreciate them.  Flowers really are beautiful. Especially when you take pretty pictures of them.

Life saver

Nickjr.com. Is such a life saver. When I need to get some work done I can pop that bad boy up and she can navigate thru it all without really messing anything up. She can play all the games pretty good and it is teaching her to search for things, use a mouse, shapes , colors and of course their is dressup games. I don't feel too bad cause she is actually doing something instead of watching a movie. She has done really well learning how to use the mouse because of the computers at the library. Otherwise I don't know if I could let her do it without me having to click on every little thing for her.

A day late

My plan was to post this last night but a 102* temp kept me stranded in my bed. Needless to say valentines day got dumped on. Husband came home with flowers and beautiful card for me with a much needed iTunes card, a cute little metal lunch box with princess galore all over it for Pia and some yummy chocolate covered brownies on a sick. What did I get him? Terrible I know, nothing. Yet. We are pretty famous around here for last minute shopping. Mine was supposed to be done yesterday but that is when the chills set in and the aches took over my body. I went to bed around 7 and that was that. So I am definitely making it up to him when I get better. But for now I have my box of tissues at my side and am gonna try and watch some instant Netflix on my iPod while I get thru my cold sweats the come about every 20 min or so.

Finally

It's about freaking time I know. I finally did a slip cover for the ottoman I inherited after about 7 months or so. I was so nervous and avoiding it cause I was afraid at how hard it would be. But for some reason yesterday my body grabbed the fabric out and just started. I wasnt even really thinking. And guess what?... It was easy. I don't have a tutorial for you cause I was so busy trying to figure it out I didn't want to stop and take pictures cause I didn't know what I was doing at first. It's pretty good I think for my first attempt. Next time my plan of attack will be better with a better result. I am happy though. It changes the whole room. And I had enough to do the pillows as well. Yay for me.

Inspiration is from the Lord

Let me just tell ya a little something. Today I went tothe fabric store to get 3 things for some orders I have to do. I was in the jersey knit isle and this striped fabric literally had celestial lights beaming down on it. I saw it and all these images flashed through my head like I had already been inthis moment and seen this fabric before.

I am inspired all the time but not like this. It was actually really awesome. Literally this whole image took over my mind for a Childs outfit and one for myself. Even down to the hair style for the photograph and the scenery.

I got home and started right away. The kids were amazing while I figured this design out for about 3 hours. That's how I know it was meant to be. The Lord has my desires and needs in mind. He made it totally happen for me today. I have been so blessed with my new business that it has inspired me so much. My creativity has sky rocketed and my inspiration finds me in the littlest things.
Wanna know why? I have been reading my scriptures and praying. I have been getting better at not yelling at Allisandria. I am so thankful for that.

I love inspiration. As long as your heart is pure and genuine and if you look for those opportunities it will come. Good feelings. Anything that is good is from the Lord.

Now I can't wait to put allisandria in this tomorrow and take pictures of her. I am so blessed.

red in the face

This was her in the morning

These were tonight at dinner.

My girls are allergic to Amoxicillon (sp?) the antibiotic. Bella had an ear infection 2 weekends ago...so I took her in...they perscribed her the antibiotic. It started out as a diaper rash...they said it was common. Then just this morning we wake up to Bella with red rash all over her body. it got worse every hour. I called, the nurse said I should come in...Result...They are allergic. She is one giant hive. The funny thing though is that it doesn't irritate her. She isn't whiney or itchy. My sweet baby. After the drugs they perscribed her...she was preeeetty mellow at dinner. Then when I tried to take a picture I think she knew what was going on. Mom was taking embarrassing photos. I dressed her as cute as I possibly could today to counter the rash all over....i couldn't take her seriously...I am glad we caught it in time.

A good thing

I have been trying really hard to be more patient and cut it down on the yelling. Let me tell you though with a three year old that is reeeeaaally hard. I had a light go off in my brain the other day. If I wnt to be better at those things I need to seek the lord for help. I need to help myself. I need to say my prayers and read my scriptures and have family home evening. It has helped. I have noticed that I think about my reaction before I react. I have stopped myself a few times from screaming. I was so proud. It only makes sense that when you do what your told and keep the commandments we will be blessed.

just a thought

Do you ever wish you could go back in time? When everything was funny, exciting and silly? That puting necklaces on your baby sister was the most hilarious thing ever? I wish i could be more child like. Appreciate the small and simple things. I think I need to work on that. I wish I could be in Bella's mind when Allisandria does all these things to her. I watch Bella watch Allisandria's every move then laugh. I want to know sooo bad what she is thinking. I am sure it is along the lines of "What the heck is this girl doin?"

I think those same things sometimes.

Saturday night

My Saturday went from boutique free of workin to full throttle have a huuuuuuuuge order that needs to be shipped out by Saturday. Plus five other orders I need to knock out by the beginning of the following week. This is a dram come true to haver merchandise bought to be showcased in a boutique somewhere. This lady contacted me today. Now I'm bustin butts to get things done. My goal this year was to go bit and not stress out. If I need to hire some help so be it. The goal was not to turn anything away. And now another friend/client is buying space to open a boutique here and wants to sell my stuff. Awesome. Sorry folks but I am totally patting myself on the back right now. Smiles.

Library

I know my posting every day might be a little much for you, but for me it is my journal.  I am doing a new thing this year where I write about things I do everyday. It always turns into things that I am blessed to have.  So sorry if you hate it, I LOVE it.

So here is my library.  Located just down the road.
Free.
Fun.
Nice to kill an hour or so reading books, playing on a computer it is impossible to mess up because it is just filled with kids games, play outside on their little play ground.
Free movies...a favorite!
I am so lucky to have this neat free place my child can have fun indoors in the summer time...I can catch up on some business from my phone!  Win win!

North

Dogs like pillow pets too. Even if it is a unicorn. North will lay on a plastic bag if it was onthe floor. If I am sewing something and I have the tape measure on the floor you better believe that he will be laying on it. This pup is a good boy. Never barks except when he and Bo are playing or they are inthe yard and the neighbors take their trash to the bin or randomly in the middle of the night he will start to growl occasionally because he thinks he sees something. Makes me think he could be a food watch dog even thigh he wont Hurt a fly. He never growls at allisandria when she comes in the middle ofthe night but maybe he would start if a stranger were to come in. Let's just pray that a stranger never enters our house.
These dogs were my babies when we got them. We were childless and they began our family. Now having children they seem to be in the way more. That is because I don't play around with them like I used to. They are good boys and are soooooo patient with the girls. Lately Bella has been army crawling following north. He is more apt to snap when he is annoyed but I keep him calm as Bella tries to grab his tail. He tries really hard not to get mad. Bo likes to play dress up. Allisandria drapes these dogs from head to toes in necklaces headbands and crowns. They walk around slowly with their heads low hoping that no one will see them. It eventually comes off with a shake or two bit it won't be long before she has the combs and clips out and a haircutting cape around them playing hairstylist. Oh what good pups I have. I need to be better about taking them on walks. Life would be better for eveyone if that happened everyday. Goodnight. Kiss your animals. They enrich our lives.

love

going from one kid to 2...that was hard...

the emotional struggle of trying to contemplate loving another child just as much as the first...
never having the moments where it will be "just you and me"...
that was hard.
I remember crying my last sunday at church before giving birth to Anabella. Having such hard week before with Allisandria, plus the pregnancy emotions on top of regular emotions. I was scared that Pia would be left behind.
Today...oh is life different, but better becuase of the change...
I of course still love my Pia to death, but look at this face! Anabella couldn't possibly feel any more apart of the family that Allisandria. That is how I know it is meant to be.
They are made of me. They are my flesh. they will forever hold my heart, which they do for their daddy as well. That these little nuggets connect dave and I physically forever.
Talk about eternal love. I like that.

Fountains

There was a theme at westgate when we were there the other night. FUN. I noticed the fountain was choreographed to the music that was playing on the out door speakers at the center of this shopping/restaurant area. Bon novi, I believe was playing when we arrived. How do they do that? Who is the smart person in charge of syncing the fountains to the music? That is so rad. While we are here enjoying water that dances, there are men and women fighting for me.
There are the men and women despite of falling over and over again to train to be the heroes they are, that have the courage to do all that hard work to protect us. And there husbands and wives are just as heroic for supporting their spouse and sacrificing their time with us to protect our promised land.
I'll admit that my tears at sea world are not only cause shamu is awesome. It is when they recognize the men and womenof past and present that have served our country or have been an alli. Same at the ball games. The national anthem means something completely different to me since 9/11. I had the honor to sing it the day after that tragedy at our high school when they decided to do a memorial assembly. Ever since then I have appreciated much more what it is to be american.
I am blessed to has been born here. I get to have my nails done, blog from any location using my awesome phone or iPod. I get to craft and sew tip my hearts content. I gather my family prayer each day. I go to church just down the street. I have Walmart that is walking distance ( that I especially love). My husband has a job to go to everyday just so that I may enjoy a night out with my ladies and see the fountains that dance to music.
Sorry that was a wide spread tangent but it was just something that made me grateful.

Fwd: 1.2.3...

From her eyes

Her favorite thing to do on my iPod is raking pictures and videos. She constantly tries to do everything I do right on down to photographing items like I do for the blog or my boutique. So even though probably wasn't meaning to take a picture of her foot it reminds me of all those things. Sweet girl. She really want to be just like me.

Tonight

We celebrate new life and we celebrate years that have come and gone. We celebrate with people who get us we celebrate with those who have "been there" and that lend their support. We celebrate and congratulate the happy times and new times that will change us forever. We are changed by the people we laugh with and we are changed when we cry. We see a new light when when a song is played or an embrace is given. Those moments we CELEBRATE the CHANGE in ourselves. I'll drink my diet Coke to that! cheers!

Take time to smell the roses

Take time to smell he roses. Such a common thing we hear quite often. But I am goin to tell you something about these roses.
It was my birthday on the 4th. My dear friend Stacy brought me the flowers. I haven't received flowers on sometime. I think when I had Bella was the last time. These roses are beautiful. They put out such a sweet scent in my kitchen that makes me smile. These make me grateful for the got of flowers. It helps us to literally put our noses in them to take in their sweet aroma. We take time to prep them for clean water so they will last as long as they possibly can. They continue to bloom and even show more beauty as the days pass. What a nice treat to see. I am grateful for the thought and for the gesture of giving flowers. It reminds me of our Heavenly Father. And that we need to take the time to really smell the roses.

She's not yet crawling fully, just a little scoot here and there. The walker seems to be doing her job because her legs seem to be eating stronger. She moves backward pretty well. I just hope she stars movin forward And stops being so lazy. She can do it. She is just stubborn. Like her mom I guess ;0). Although I love this kid, GET CRAWLING !!!

New Goal

So as my sweet friends left my house tonight (they wished me a happy birthday with their sweet creations) We talked for a long time....its always that way when we get together...we talk...aloooot. One of our little topics was about Becky Higgens' Project Life...She is a friend in their ward, and an old client of mine who is rather famous when it comes to scrapbooking. She is all over the internet and sold out of her Poject life product within 2 seconds of being on Amazon.com. She was Amazon's top 2 sellers....AMAZON! Hello? Project Life is about taking a picture of something in your life everyday for a year and documenting it...her kit comes with everything you need. I want to do it...document the little things...what a wonderful way to journal. Want to join me???

Snow falls in Peoria

So chilly today with the wind howling like a lost dog. The clouds smothered us with their thick chilling puffs yet the sun seemed to peek out occasionally and kiss the wind.

This moment though was magical. Allisandria and I decided to step out in the weather and face the cold by making a few returns at Walmart. As we pulled into the parking space it happened. Little flakes of white began kissing the windshield. I rushed to et the video. And so here you are witnessing this little holiday dream. Arizona snow falling.

Christmas continues

Sweet aunt Marideth and her family got the girls this sweet fairy kitchen. Thanks guys she is now complete with her kitchen stuff

Funny

Why I love these girls

Christmas Morning

After a rough night with our Christmas Slumber Party, Bella woke up at 4:30 and only fell asleep for another 45 minutes. Then we were awake, her and I trying to kill time. Finally at 6:00 I decided it was time for everyone else to wake up. I put Johnny Mathis on my ihome and walked into the bedroom. Dave said "TURN IT OFF!!!" bah humbug right? Who doesn't want to be woken up to "It's the most Wonderful time of the YEar"?
Allisandria eventually woke up and this is how the morning went:
The Letter and empty plate....That was the first thing Allisandria asked about when she woke up..."Santa ate my cookies in my home?"

Just before opening presents

New Toys include: Pink Rattle, cell phone, stackable rings, A walker, and purse

pia helping her use the cell phone

opening up her Cinderella Barbie

Allisandria was such a good helper to Anabella with her gifts. But Bella did pretty good ripping the paper.

Daddy's favorite presents:
NCAA 2011 Football XBOX game...perfect timing when our xbox craps out on us again and I just sent it back to get replaced. Sorry honey, you will have to wait a while to play your new game.
a couple ties
socks
golf stuff
clothes
Mommy's Favorite Presents:
Pretty Down East Basics necklace from my girls
iPod Touch...Yesssssss!!!
ipod accessories
shirts
Pia's Favorite Presents:
Dress up shoes
Kitchen pots and pans set
table cloth and place mats for her tea party
disney's Cinderella Barbie and clothes
Pillow pet
treats
play food
Anabella's First Christmas:
walker
toys
her own stuffed doggie so she stops taking pia's
her own snuggly
pillow pet
her favorite dried fruit
All in all it was a fabulous day. I loooove spending time with my family. We went to see Tangled and the girls were great! It has been a wonderful Christmas Weekend. Allisandria even loooved hearing the Christmas story. She doesn't sit well thru stories, so that is a big deal.
Hope you all had an amazing Holiday!!!
