On Friday I was in Mesa for a wedding. My parents were staying with some friends, so I was going to pick up my mom on the way home from the temple and Dave and my dad were going golfing. It ended up that my mother got mile high in a curtain project that wasn't even close to being done when I arrived to pick her up so I stayed to help finish. I sewed and sewed. Never thought I would ever do that in a million years. I am not a "let's sew vallance or curtains" typ of girl...at least yet. All three of us were busy working, I mom was ironing and pinning and telling me where to sew, Vannie was our little slave getting us everything we needed. Then, with power drill in hand, I climbed the ladder and hung the curtains on the wall. Finally after 6 hours and telling Dave he had to pick the kids up from the sitter, we made it home for dinner.
Allisandria was totally beside herself with your grandparents in town. It was like instant sugar high...without the sugar. She enjoyed making grandma cookies, putting on her makeup with grandma, and playing with grandpa.
Anabella couldn't have been any cuter either. This week she decided that snuggling her fat face on your shoulder was her new trick. She would just lay there, even when she isn't tired. She just talked and squeeled and smiled at gma and gpa. She also cut her first tooth. Sunday morning, Dave realized it...Noooooo my baby...my baby...waaah wahh. (me crying). Then she also is trying to sit up too. She can balance for a little bit and then falls over. Why is she doing this to me?
It is always fun having my parents in town. Dave wishes we could live closer, It is nice being away cause these little visits are just the best. Allisandria cried the whole way home from the airport. First, she thought she was going with them...and she wasn't. Second, she wanted them to stay...so she could "help you cookies gramma" (help make gramma cookies again).

The next big thing last week was that my dear Sarah got married. I was a young woman leader of hers, then she became my most favorite baby sitter since Pia was just little little. She stayed with her while I was in the Hospital having Anabella. This sweet girl.....oh I just love her. I was so fortunate to do her hair, color, extensions, and up style for her wedding. I loooooved every minute of it. I love weddings. She was such a beautiful bride. Her colors were Black, White and Lime Green. Cute Right?

The center piece... a rusty can i found in the firepit...it was secreeting some odd juices...I called it disease. The girls were cute and would come replenish the supply with fresh flower when the old ones would die.
The blessed Mirror. Vanity? So what!?
again...never fails, the umbrella to keep her sweet porceline skin beautiful...Until we canoed our little hearts out and met the sunshine real fast.

Then on Wednesday, I was able to go on the Bishop's Campout. Bishop Call is such a fun man. The youth in our ward looooove him. He does fun things, he is fun to tease, he teases the kids, he is loud, crazy and so spiritual.
We got up there wednesday morning and the young men were waiting for us so we could eat breakfast together. The men had been up there the first half of the week, then wednesday the yw, joined for super activities and then stayed the rest of the week while the boys went home. He enjoyed Horse Theif Basin. Up on the mountain, near Marideth's Family cabin. We hung out at the lake all day riding canoes, jumping off the dam, zip lining, some fished, and just swimming. (when I say "we" i mean the kids did all that. Marideth, Stacy and I just canoed) The kids were having soooo much fun up there.
I helped Marideth and Stacy set up their little sleeping area, setting up a center piece and tablecloth on the picnik table. She conveniently set up a mirror on a nail, and they put up their cots to sleep on and a bin in between their beds as a night stand. oooohh funny.
While we canoed, or should I say attempted, we hit many things in our path. We didn't get teh steering thing down too well. I am still not sure how to do it, but oh well. We survived...almost. Sweet little stacy was at the front of the canoe. We were heading towards a very branchy tree that stuck out of the water and we couldn't seem to get away from it. We went at it straight on, throwing stacy backwards into my lap while I am trying to push away with my paddle. Then because of the force and sudden change in our center of gravity, we almost tipped. Marideth steadied the boat and pushed us away so Stacy could then begin to pull all the branches out of her shirt. That was the funniest moment I have had in a long time. Luckily no one was hurt.
We ended the evening with a good dinner and fireside. The Bishop, again, was amazing. He loves us so much. I felt the spirit strongly. I couldn't wait to get home and kiss my babies and honey.
On that drive home that evening, I had Spencer and Nick driving with me. While driving down the mountain we had some crzy experiences. We almost hit a small coyote. We saw 2 Jack Rabbits, 3 mice, 7 Tarantulas ( oh...my...gosh...they were huge...just crawling across the road...AAAAHHH), 2 owls and a rabit. Lots of things I have never seen before, to add to the giant flying beetles that shouldn't exist...ever. It was such a fun day.
